Skoda Kushaq facelift vs Maruti Victoris specifications compared

The 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift introduces a bevy of styling updates, additional features, and a new powertrain option over the outgoing model, allowing the Czech carmaker to push back against newer entrants in the midsize SUV space more effectively. One of those new entrants is the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, which launched in September 2025. Spec sheet to spec sheet, how does the Kushaq facelift stack up against the Victoris? Let’s find out.

Like the outgoing model, the Kushaq facelift will be on offer with a pair of turbo-petrol engines: a 115hp 1.0-litre 3-cylinder and a 150hp 1.5-litre 4-cylinder. Compared to the Victoris’ 103hp 1.5-litre NA petrol mill, the Kushaq’s stronger engines will definitely appeal more to enthusiasts.

Victoris is available with AWD, as well as hybrid and CNG powertrains

However, the Victoris offers an AWD layout with its petrol-AT powertrain, while the Kushaq is FWD only. The Victoris has another ace up its sleeve, especially for buyers who care deeply about fuel efficiency: its 1.5-litre strong hybrid and CNG powertrains. In fact, the Victoris hybrid is the most fuel-efficient car on sale in India at the moment, rated at 28.65kpl (ARAI-claimed).

Kushaq facelift offers more sophisticated transmissions

Gearbox options comprise a 6-speed manual and new 8-speed torque converter automatic for the Kushaq 1.0 TSI, while the 1.5 TSI is exclusively paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The Victoris petrol offers a 5-speed MT and 6-speed AT, CNG variants get the manual only, and the hybrid is mated solely with an e-CVT.

Victoris ground clearance is 22mm higher

However, the Victoris claws it back on the ground clearance front, sitting 22mm higher than the Kushaq. Wheel sizes are a close victory for the Victoris too, as lower variants of the Kushaq facelift will be offered with smaller 16-inchers.
