Royal Enfield has announced the sixth edition of the Continental GT Cup, with registrations now open. The 2026 season introduces notable changes, including separate grids for Amateur and Pro categories.

  1. Zonal selections in Guwahati, Gurgaon, Pune, and Bangalore
  2. Pro grid to race on new Continental GT-R750 race prototype
  3. Zonal selections begin May 16-17 in Guwahati

Royal Enfield GT Cup 2026 details

This is the sixth edition of the GT Cup

The 2026 season marks a shift from previous editions with the introduction of separate Amateur and Pro grids. The Amateur category will continue using the Continental GT-R650 platform, while the Pro grid will race on the new Continental GT-R750 prototype.

Registrations are now open nationwide, with zonal selections scheduled across four cities – Guwahati (May 16-17), Gurgaon (May 23-24), Pune (May 30-31), and Bangalore (June 6-7). The final selection round will be held at Kari Motor Speedway from June 18-21.

The 2026 GT Cup will feature three race rounds between August and November. The new Continental GT-R750 is powered by a 750cc parallel-twin engine and features race-tuned suspension and brakes, along with JK Tyre race-compound tyres developed specifically for the bike. Other highlights include Harris Performance components such as CNC-machined adjustable rearsets and clip-on aluminium handlebars.

Hyundai has officially revealed the upcoming Exter SUV with bookings open for a token amount of Rs 11,000. The Exter will be available in five trims, with two engines and two gearbox options. 390 Duke or Interceptor 650: Best bike for casual riding under Rs 4 lakh?

Looking for advice on which new bike to purchase. Few things to note - Budget is INR 3-4 Lakhs. It will not be my primary mode of transport as I mostly use my car. The bike will be used 60-70 percent for Sunday morning rides, 10-20 percent touring and 10-20 percent maybe the odd office commute or coffee run. Prefer comfortable upright ergonomics.
