Jupiter makes up 64 percent of TVS’s scooter sales
FY26 marked the Jupiter’s best-ever annual performance, with 14,63,328 units sold – up 32 percent from 11,07,285 units in FY25. This translates to an average of 4,009 units per day, making it the second consecutive fiscal year the model has crossed the one million sales mark.
TVS sold a record 23 lakh scooters in FY26, with the Jupiter accounting for 64 percent of that total – up from 61 percent the previous year. As the brand’s bestselling two-wheeler, it surpassed the combined sales of the Apache range (5.71 lakh units), the Raider 125 (4.27 lakh units) and the NTorq 125 (3.64 lakh units).
According to Autocar Professional, the last one million units were sold in just eight months – quicker than the previous million-unit milestone, which took 11 months.
The Jupiter has played a key role in strengthening TVS’s position in the scooter market. The company’s market share has grown from 12.68 percent in FY2014 to an all-time high of 28 percent in FY2026 – second only to Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, which holds a 39 percent share.
At its current growth rate, the Jupiter is expected to cross the one crore (10 million) sales milestone before the end of the calendar year 2026.
