5 things to know before buying the TVS Ntorq 150

The TVS Ntorq 150 aims to build on the strengths of its younger sibling, the Ntorq 125, with a larger displacement engine. Here are a few things to know if the TVS Ntorq 150 is on your list.

1. What is the peak output of the TVS Ntorq 150?

The TVS Ntorq 150 comes with a 149cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 13.2hp and 14.2Nm of torque. This engine is largely based on the unit that powers the TVS Ntorq 125, with a major internal rework to achieve this higher displacement.

2. Does the TVS Ntorq 150 get an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG)?

Yes, much like the TVS Jupiter 125, the Ntorq 150 gets an ISG that gives it a start/stop system and ensures silent starts. It also gets TVS’s iGO Assist that provides 0.6Nm of boost.  

3. What is the fuel economy of the TVS Ntorq 150?

In our instrumented fuel-efficiency test, the TVS Ntorq 150 returned a highway fuel economy of 49.92kpl, whereas the city fuel economy was 46.9kpl.

4. What colours is the TVS Ntorq 150 available in?

The TVS Ntorq 150 is available in two variants – with TFT and without TFT. The former is offered in three colours – red with grey, silver with black, and blue with mint green. The TFT variant gets an additional colour – fluorescent neon with grey.

5. What is the price of the TVS Ntorq 150?

The TVS Ntorq 150’s base variant is priced at Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the TFT variant costs Rs 1.18 lakh.
