The Scram 440 is largely based on the erstwhile Himalayan 411, but gets a larger engine and an additional gear among other things that improve its touring capabilities. Here are a few things to know before buying the Royal Enfield Scram 440.

1. What is the peak output of the Royal Enfield Scram 440?

The Royal Enfield Scram 440 is powered by a 443cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 25.4hp and 34Nm, mated to a six-speed gearbox.

2. Does the Royal Enfield Scram 440 get tubeless tyres?

Yes, the Scram 440 gets tubeless tyres with alloy wheels, but it is reserved for the top-spec Force variant whereas the Trail variant gets spoked-wheels with tubed tyres. Both variants are similarly equipped otherwise.

3. Does the Royal Enfield Scram 440 get the Tripper navigation pod?

Yes, the Scram 440 gets the Tripper navigation pod as standard.

4. Does the Royal Enfield Scram 440 get all-LED lighting?

No, the Scram 440 gets an LED headlight and taillight but the indicators continue to use a bulb.  

5. What are the variants and colours available with the Royal Enfield Scram 440?

The Scram 440 is offered in two variants: Trail and Force

Royal Enfield has given the motorcycle five colours in total. While the Trail variant comes in Trail Blue and Trail Green colours, the Force variant gets three colours: Force Blue, Force Grey and Force Teal. Apart from the colours, there is no difference between both variants in terms of design.

6. What is the price of the Royal Enfield Scram 440 after GST 2.0?

The Scram 440 is priced from Rs 2.23 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.31 lakh, reflecting a hike of Rs 15,000
