5 things to know about the India bound Honda ZR-V

Honda has confirmed that it will bring its mid-size SUV, the ZR-V, to India as a brand builder, alongside other models. In Honda's product lineup, the ZR-V sits below the flagship CR-V and will be introduced to India via the CBU route.
What is the expected price of the Honda ZR-V?
Likely to be priced around Rs 50 lakh - Rs 60 lakh

The Honda ZR-V's proportions lean more towards the side of a premium crossover than an SUV. At the front, the ZR-V sports LED headlamps and an octagonal grille with vertical and horizontal slats. The sides of the front bumpers get functional air vents, with the lower side of the bumper finished in black and sporting wide air dams.

There's a continuous black trim running along the sides of the vehicle and wheel arches. It is yet to be confirmed what sizes the alloy wheels will come in for the India-spec model, while the global model features wheel sizes ranging from 17-inch to 19-inch. The side profile is mostly clean, with a subtle character line running across the lower side of the doors.
At the rear, the ZR-V gets LED taillights, with the rear bumper getting a dual-tone black and silver finish, along with the exhausts finished in chrome.

Expect the interior of the ZR-V to come in a dual-tone theme. The global spec ZR-V gets a stylish interior, with a continuous AC vent trim running across the dashboard. Key highlights are the free-standing touchscreen infotainment system and the digital display. The ZR-V comes with a button-operated gear shift panel instead of a conventional gear lever.
In terms of features, expect the ZR-V to come equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a powered driver's seat, wireless charging pad, dual-zone climate control, a sunroof, a powered tailgate and an ADAS suite.
What engine and transmission does the Honda ZR-V come with?

The India-spec ZR-V model is likely to come with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder hybrid engine mated to an e-CVT gearbox, producing 180hp and 240Nm of torque.
