2025 Tata Sierra vs Hyundai Creta: Netizens’ choice revealed

2025 Tata Sierra vs Hyundai Creta Instagram poll

The 2025 Tata Sierra has just been launched at an introductory price of Rs 11.49 lakh, and it will go toe to toe with the Hyundai Creta. Tata’s latest SUV has been a hot topic of discussion, especially on social media. Therefore, even before the official prices were announced, we conducted an Instagram poll to see which of these two midsize SUVs you would pick. Read on to find out what we discovered.

2025 Tata Sierra vs Hyundai Creta: What did the Instagram poll reveal?

Among the 7,525 votes, 84 percent picked the modern but rugged design and extensive feature set that the new Tata Sierra has to offer. While it received only 16 percent of the total votes, the poll did reveal that the Hyundai Creta continues to garner interest amongst the masses, regardless of the competition.

2025 Tata Sierra vs Hyundai Creta: Design and features

The new Sierra has a relatively boxy and upright stance, along with bold ‘SIERRA’ lettering on the nose and tailgate. Then there are the sleek LED elements, two-tone alloy wheels, and flush door handles. While the wraparound rear glass seen in the old model is absent in the new one, the integration of black trim and expansive windows tries to achieve a similar visual effect.

The Hyundai Creta’s styling is equally modern and bold in its aesthetics. However, its chiselled side panels and softer curves are more urbane than rugged. Understandably, prospective buyers will find the new Sierra’s feature set to be more expansive than the Creta’s. Tata is offering its new SUV with three digital displays, a 12-speaker JBL audio system, a panoramic sunroof, 5G connectivity, connected car tech, Level 2 ADAS, and an augmented-reality heads-up display.
