  3. Priced at USD 5,349 (approximately Rs 4.70 lakh)

The Big Update: E-Clutch Technology

Honda's E-Clutch system first debuted in the CB650R and CBR650R. The Rebel 300 cruiser is the third model to get this technology. The E-Clutch system by Honda is not a fully automatic transmission, but an electronic clutch actuation system that automates clutch engagement and disengagement, while still allowing the rider to shift gears manually and optionally operate the clutch lever traditionally.

Honda says the system also enhances safety, with electronic calibration that prevents abrupt stalls or jerky clutch engagement.

Performance

Powering the Rebel 300 E-Clutch is the same 286 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motor produces around 25 hp and 23.8 Nm of torque.
While the output figures remain unchanged, the E-Clutch tech is said to make the power delivery feel more refined and forgiving, especially in slow-speed conditions.

New Colours

The styling remains the same but there are two new colour options to choose from: Pearl Smoky Gray and Matte Black Metallic.

Availability

Currently, the bike has been launched in the U.S.and is priced at USD 5,349 (around Rs 4.70 lakh). This marks an increase of USD 500 over last year's model. Honda has not confirmed Indian launch plans for now but if you are interested in the Rebel, Honda's Big Wing Dealerships offer the more powerful Rebel 500, priced at Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
