The Hero Xoom 125 was launched recently in India, directly aimed at the TVS Ntorq, the pioneer of the sporty 125cc scooter segment. Here are a few things you should know before buying the Hero Xoom 125.

1. What are the variants available with the Hero Xoom 125?

The Xoom 125 is available in two variants – VX and ZX – priced at Rs 87,316 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs 93,316, respectively.

2. What is the difference between the VX and ZX variants?

For Rs 6,000 more, the ZX variant gains a lot over the VX. For starters, it gets front disc brakes, sequential indicators, front apron storage, and even additional colour options – red and yellow. 

3. What is the wheel size on the Hero Xoom 125?

The Hero Xoom 125 rides on 14-inch alloy wheels at both ends, fitted with 110/80 front and 120/70 rear tyres.

4. What is the fuel tank capacity and kerb weight of the Hero Xoom 125?

The Hero Xoom 125 VX weighs 120kg, and the ZX variant is a kilo heavier. The scooter has a fuel-carrying capacity of 5 litres.  

5. Does the Xoom 125 come with a Bluetooth-enabled LCD dash?

Yes, but Bluetooth functionality is reserved for the top-spec ZX variant.

6. What’s the peak output of Hero Xoom 125?

The Hero Xoom 125 is powered by a 124.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 10hp and 10.4Nm.

The compact sedan was the final diesel model in its segment that currently comprises of the Hyundai Aura , Tata Tigor and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire .
