The Volvo XC60 is the brand's bestselling model worldwide. In India, the current-generation XC60 midsize luxury SUV received its second facelift in August 2025, and it continues to rival the Mercedes GLC, BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Lexus NX. After the new GST rates on cars were announced by the central government, the 2025 XC60 facelift’s sole Plus trim received a massive rate cut of Rs 4.79 lakh, bringing its ex-showroom price to Rs 67.11 lakh.

As a result of the reduced ex-showroom price, the Volvo SUV's on-road price has also dropped. In Delhi and Mumbai, the XC60 is estimated to cost around Rs 79 lakh.

2. Is the Volvo XC60 plug-in hybrid sold in India?

Volvo sells the XC60 here with just the 250hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 48V mild hybrid assistance. It uses an 8-speed automatic that sends drive to all four wheels, doing 0-100kph in 6.9 seconds and maxing out at a top speed of 180kph.

3. What is the Volvo XC60 mileage?

Volvo claims 12.9kpl for the XC60 facelift, but we have yet to conduct a real-world efficiency test according to Autocar India test standards.

The new XC60’s cabin keeps the same clean design as before, but now gets a larger 11.2-inch Google-powered touchscreen. Feature highlights include a wireless charger and a 1,410W 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system. However, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto need a cable, and climate control settings are tucked into the portrait-style touchscreen. The front seats are heated, ventilated, and even offer a massaging function. Practical touches include rear climate control, vents on the rear side pillars and and a 483-litre boot.

5. Is the Volvo XC60 7 seater SUV?

The XC60 is strictly a 5-seater SUV. While the seats are high on comfort, the ones at the back are spacious for two people, with good recline and comfort. However, under-thigh support could be better. Those looking for a seven-seater Volvo SUV can consider the XC90.
